The Donkey Sanctuary Memory Maker app

If you’ve adopted a donkey through The Donkey Sanctuary adoption scheme you’ll be able to use this brilliant free app. Firstly a big thanks to those that have adopted one or more of our donkeys. Your donation and kindness will help them and thousands of other donkeys like them around the world to live much better and happier lives.

To get started all you need to do is select your adopted donkey.

About this free app
This app is all about having some fun and capturing memorable moments with your adopted donkey, family and friends. With this app, your donkey will always be with you.

Some of the great features are:

1) Create your memory
Place your donkey into shots within your existing photo library or your Facebook library. Alternatively you can also take new shots using your iPhone camera, for example you could pretend to pose hugging your donkey and then drop them into your composition. You can see the fun we had with Benjy at the Madame Tussauds wax museum in London.

2) Choose your donkey’s pose
We’ve included a variety of poses of each donkey so you can select the one that best suits your picture and composition.

3) Edit your image
We have built in some great editing tools so your donkey feels like it’s really in the shot with you. You can: resize, rotate, crop, flip, rub out sections, adjust the levels, contrast, colour and hue. You can also blur the donkey to match the depth of field in your shot.

4) Add an image effect
Once you’ve got your perfect composition you can then add an effect to your image, you can make it black and white, vintage, faded, negative and many more.

5) Frame your donkey
To complete your memory you can frame your donkey

6) Share your memory
Email, save and share your images with friends and family.

Here’s to many appy memories.
